Catholic Healthcare is blessed by the many generous people who give of their time, talents and money to enhance the lives of residents.  What a difference their generosity makes!

A beautiful sensory garden, has been created at Holy Spirit, Revesby through a significant bequest.  Surrounded by rosemary bushes and olive trees, the garden provides a peaceful sanctuary.

In Springwood, residents from Aquinas Court Retirement Village are extremely happy with their new surroundings.  A donation has provided for extensive landscaping of the gardens and a stylish renovation to the residents' common room.

Macquarie Care Cetre, Bathurst, utilised a donation to develop two large wheelchair-accessible gardens.  Residents recently entered their home grown vegetables from the garden in the Bathurst Royal Show, winning nine prizes!

At Catholic Healthcare we strive to create communities that promote life.  With care and insight, modest renovations can also have a dramatic impact.  A substantial bequest from a past resident of McQuoin Park, Waitara of $180,000 allowed the renovation of the nursing home and hostel's social areas - the hubs of community life.  The manager commented:

"I just wanted to let you know how grateful the residents are for the new dining room.  (Some) thought they were at the Ritz, others loved the colour scheme.  Residents ... were more social and interacting with each other."  (Renee England, Service Manager)
